The Undergraduate Computer Engineering Major

The departments of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering jointly offer a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Engineering. The program is administered by the Computer Engineering Committee, which consists of faculty members from both departments. Computer Engineering is a hardware-oriented degree whose requirements include 8 Computer Science courses, 7 Electrical Engineering courses, and 7 courses offered by both departments. A student must be admitted as a major in the program in order to take upper-division courses and pursue the Computer Engineering degree.
