The following section details departmental policy and procedures for currently matriculated computer science graduate students who wish to change degree programs (MS to PhD or vice versa), and students who are about to complete a degree program and wish to continue in another. All such applications will be reviewed by the Graduate Studies Committee to ensure standards consistent with those applied to outside applicants. The same admissions deadlines apply as for outside applicants (i.e., a student wishing to transfer from the MS program for the Fall Quarter must submit their application by February 1).
