Abstract
Internet in general, and world wide web in particular, have created a gigantic distributed system without a central authority with very interesting security ramifications. In this talk, we explore how security on internet differs from a traditional system, and the current state of art in authentication and authorization solutions.
BIO
Dr. Nalumasu earned his PhD from the School of Computing, University of Utah in 1999. He then worked as a security architect
for HP for 8 years, joining Google in 2007. During the first part of his talk, he will present some details on applying to Google
for employment and internships.
