Abstract
For the last several years, Microsoft has been investing heavily in support for parallel computing. In this talk, we'll dive into Microsoft's approach for supporting mainstream developers writing concurrent code, including a look at technology that's already shipped and new technology on the horizon.

Steve Toub is the Principal Program Manager on the Parallel Computing Platform team at Microsoft. He spends most of his time focused on the next generation of asynchronous and parallel programming models for the .NET Framework.
