We, the undersigned, wish to have access to the Training Set and Test Set 1 ("the data") for the 2003 Utah High School Programming Contest take-home problem. We acknowledge and agree that access to the data is provided solely to assist us in designing our systems for the take-home problem. We further understand that the data is not to be distributed to any other entity, be it a school, a classmate not involved in the take-home problem, a friend, a pet, or an industrial spy, and we agree that we will abide by this restriction. We also agree to destroy all copies of the data as soon as the 2003 High School Programming Contest is over. We understand that failure to comply with and abide by this agreement may have dire consequences for the School of Computing and some of its individual faculty members, the University of Utah, our high school, and us personally. We realize that the company which generated the data would very likely take all of above to court, since it was so costly to develop and test it. In addition, we understand that violation of this agreement will certainly result in our team being disqualified from the 2003 Utah High School Programming Contest, and will also affect the future participation of our high school in the contest. We agree that this agreement is legally binding and will accept any disciplinary action taken as a result of violating it.
