Profile: Name: Brandon Lake Year: Senior Major: Computer Science (undergrad) Professional Aspirations: I have been working doing web development while I have been going through school, but I am really interested in getting into larger application development. I really like the idea of working on building great cross platform software that is related to media in some way. I also plan on obtaining a masters in business with some sort of technical edge to it, and my long term goal is to help manage or run a technology based company. This Class: In the HCI class I learned to think about and ask the right kind of questions when approaching an interface challenge. I think what I would most be interested in with this class is to learn how to look at statistically situations and ask the right questions and learn how to approach them. In many classes, the focus has been on specific problems and formulas. I think it would be more helpful in the long term, if I could remember what questions to ask, and how to think about the problems.
