I am pursuing an =20 MS degree in the School of Computing and this is my second semester here. I joined last fall. I got my bachelor's degree from India in Electronics and Communication Engineering.Presently I am working with Prof. John Regehr in =20 developing embedded systems tools that would compress code to suit the available constrained =20 resources. I am also interested in Artificial Intelligence and this project has an =20 application of it as well. In the future I want to work with developing Embedded applications and =20 multicore processors.....although I must admit that given an oppurtunity I'll =20 always manage time for some AI related work. I have always ha a strong liking for statistical analysis and more so =20 now that I realise the wide applications it has. I would like to learn about the most =20 widely using techniques in computation(especially with refernce to algorithms, =20 prediction and visualization) Thanks, Tilottama Bose Maiti.
