• We provide:
  • Two shared memory models to address the dual problems of limited replication and memory overhead
  • Two consistency models to address the problem of false sharing
  • Three consistency protocols to address the range of dynamic sharing patterns displayed by different applications
• We utilize the results of the large body of DSM research to provide efficiency enhancing mechanisms
• We explore a novel dynamic blending of two shared memory models.
